Geometrical Art # Mandalas.
I started painting in 1970 because I became fascinated with the endless possibilities hidden in combining geometric forms and colors.
Geometry can be seen as the underlying pattern behind all that is in the physical, mental and spiritual level of the universe.
Geometric patterns show us the oneness of all beings and the order hidden under the surface of apparent chaos.
I experience Geometry as a way of centering oneself.
The concentration which is needed is like a training of the mind,
learning how to focus one's attention on the here and now.
I experience this as a form of meditation,
a way of reaching inner peace and balance.
My work is inspired on the geometrical art found in many cultures.
